Deacons

At Creekstone Church, we believe that Spirit-filled leadership matters to God. Acts 6:1-7 models the selection of a council of deacons who are “known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom” (verse 3). The early Church presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. So the Word of God spread and the number of disciples increased rapidly (verses 6-7).

Creekstone Church was grateful to install deacons on March 23, 2025 for the first time in the life of our ministry! Under the leadership of Pastor Branch and Church elders, these deacons were carefully selected and discipled to accept this call to serve according to 1 Timothy 3:1-13.

Our deacons provide important congregational care, including prayer, hospital and home visits. They support Pastor Branch in meeting the needs of Creekstone members. Our deacons also serve Holy Communion and perform baptisms during Sunday worship services.
