The Next Generation youth ministry, affectionately known as “NextGen,” serves our youngest members and visitors from infancy through 12th grade. Our NextGen leaders and volunteers pride themselves on the fact that they are not babysitting your child during service but teaching them about the saving and transforming power of Jesus Christ in a way that is engaging and easy to understand!
Our NextGen Ministry operates in their own building right beside the main sanctuary, where the youth participate in a worship service that mirrors the one in the main sanctuary. You will be able to enjoy your worship experience knowing that your kids are participating in a fun, kid-friendly worship service in a safe and loving environment right next door!
Each 3rd Sunday of the month, we observe family worship where the kids serve and participate in the regular service in the main sanctuary. Once a month, our kids are putting into practice scripture memorization, prayer, public speaking, and serving!
In addition to Sunday worship, our NextGen ministry provides opportunities for fun outings, special programs, and youth-centered events. There are a number of ways for children to get involved and develop friendships with other Christian youth!
The NextGen Ministry is overseen by Jayme McLin, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a preschool teacher. Sis McLin is supported by 5 additional leaders and a host of trained volunteers who help usher your child into a personal relationship with Christ. Our NextGen Ministry has led to a number of youth baptisms throughout the life of our Church. To God be the glory!
